To bring some life back to a subject too many people consider deathly dull, two researchers have reflected on the paragon of revitalization-- the undead.
Bradley Voytek, Ph.D, and Tim Verstynen, Ph.D are serious neuroscientists who also happen to be members of the Zombie Research Society, a collection of experts on the fictional monster of pulp movie fame. Using their knowledge of neurology, the researchers designed a model of what the zombie brain would look like based off the symptoms zombies exhibit, such as the insatiable craving for human flesh.
